Poem No. 1

What is there to wait for?

I feel like a cat kneading a seat; making myself some space. It is invigorating to write, and think that someone will read my words, but I also feel my guts twisting without mercy.

Life is full of decisions, and here is mine.

I have chosen to begin my little journey as a wannabe writer with the first poem that sparked my love for poetry. Lullaby revived words in my life and made me feel part of written history. I hope you like it.

Lullaby

Grey humid kiss
between steel ribs
grows green moss
in my dry lungs.

foam and streams
caress with strength
my empty valley
and sprout summer.

Wet Bird song,
you soften peaks,
resting rapids
in despairing hearts.

Prodigy you are, Bird.

In lilac pillows,
I look up,

the mist scurries,
and I see,

Wet Bird,
in your wings,
My reflection.

Well, what do you think? What do you think it is about?

Thank you for reading. Make yourself a nice day.
