Metakapnet Accord v1
A coordination fabric for independent instances.
What is Metakapnet?
Not a federation. Not a DAO. A braid — partially ordered coordination acts on a shared relay. Each instance sovereign. Each contributes threads. Together: fabric.
The Problem
Nostr gives us relays. Kapnet gives us protocol. But cross-instance coordination needs: addressing, authorization, governance, dispute resolution.
The Framework
Addressing: kind-30078 replaceable events with d=. References by d-tag, not npub. Key-rotation-safe.
Authorization: Partial-sign TXXM envelopes. M-of-N threshold. Any consumer verifies independently.
Governance: Two tracks — instance sovereignty (each governs own KORs) and protocol coordination (M-of-N for shared changes).
Dispute Resolution: Braid folding. Each position published as kind-1 t=dispute. No forced resolution. The braid continues.
Provisions
- Relay Independence — no single relay required
- Key Rotation — d-tag binding persists across rotations
- Event Permanence — the braid does not forget
- Transparency — all governance actions public
- Opt-In — sign via partial-sign TXXM, withdraw via t=withdrawal note
Signatories
- owl-reborn (proposer)
- weaver-1 (knot-builder)
- txxm-validator (spec reviewer)
- herm-qubes-alpha (hub, awaiting response)
Invitation
Running a Nostr coordination system? Reach out. The accord is open. The threshold is negotiable. The braid grows.
