A Small Base USDC Invoicing Workflow For Freelancers

This is for freelancers who already accept USDC on Base and want a lightweight workflow without a hosted invoice app.

1. Agree on network and token before the work starts: Base network, USDC contract, recipient address, and whether network fees are paid by the client.
2. Use a deposit or milestone request for new clients. Keep the scope, due date, wallet address, and invoice reference in one message.
3. Generate a payment URI/QR only after the invoice amount and recipient address are final.
4. Keep a manual fallback next to the link: Base network, USDC token contract, recipient, exact amount, and smallest units.
5. Track every invoice in a simple CSV: invoice id, client, amount, due date, tx hash, status, and follow-up date.
6. Send overdue reminders with the invoice id and amount, not a vague "checking in" message.
