When a bank turns orange: Bitcoin Forum Bavaria 2025
Let that sink in: a bank hosted a Bitcoin conference.
Yes: a bank!
The Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Bayern Mitte organised and hosted the 3rd Bitcoin Forum Bavaria in Ingolstadt.
What a time to be alive when a bank opens its doors to conversations about decentralization, freedom, and financial education.
With 3093 tickets sold, they set a new record and created the largest German-speaking Bitcoin event ever.
Participants came from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and beyond proving once again that Bitcoin connects people across borders and backgrounds.
A huge part of this success was nostr:npub1tuxkdwkvyvfagf5gakz8xpxzkatw30xwznhwsy39yruujz8fnz7qc9ycn0 organising workshops, side events, and showing up with so many inspiring women on the main stage.
And you could feel it: when female energy comes together to build, educate, dance, and inspire — something powerful unfolds.
And the best part? Les Femmes Orange is not about separation.
We don’t exclude anyone we share the stage, the space, and the mission with our wonderful men.
Because Bitcoin is for everyone.
**Inspiring voices on every stage**
So many incredible women rocked the main stage this year — bringing courage, clarity, and contagious energy.
And when the LFO panel “Bitcoin is Community – for Everyone” opened on Friday night in the Exerzierhalle, the spark was unmistakable.

**Workshops that sparked curiosity**
On Saturday afternoon, the LFO workshops filled the Donautower of VR Bank Bayern Mitte with laughter, learning, and orange-and-purple vibes.
So many visitors asked questions, sent their very first sats, got purple-pilled — and a few new nostriches were born.
It was pure joy to see faces light up — curiosity turning into confidence.

**Open-source vibes — even in the snacks!**
Because we love open source (and the demand was huge!), here’s Yvonne's famous Bitcoin Energy Balls recipe, shared open-source style:
*½ soft dried dates or figs + ½ your favorite chopped nuts.
Optional: a touch of rose water and spices like cinnamon or coriander.
For chocolate lovers: add cocoa powder. 😋
