Lohan's Mighty Margarita

The Margarita, a classic drink, invented in 1942 by a Mexican, now Mexican-American, named Francisco Morales. It was named after a flower, not a girl—though people joke about it being named after Francisco's wife, whom he married in 1956.

Optional: to stretch the above ingredients out a bit, add 1 oz lemon juice and/ or some club soda Tastes best with company in sunny warm weather

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1.5 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1/2 oz Agave Syrup

Directions

  1. add 2 or 3 ice cubes to a shaker
  2. add all ingredients to shaker
  3. shake well 60 - 90 seconds
  4. pour over 3 - 5 ice cubes in a cocktail glass
