I have a few easy tips that I've learn from Jack Kruse and other mitochondriacs over the last years that I kind of apply when I can:
- Morning sun. First thing to do in the morning before checking Nostr news is to open a window or go out ideally to step on the lawn or beach or whatever is around. Put your skin and eyes in the game. And if you can, do it without shoes, grounding is good. Never miss the sun.
- Light during day. During the day, be outside in nature as much as possible, in the sun, even if it's cloudy, even if it's snowing. If you have to be inside, open the window.
- Dark during night. After sunset, limit light, especially blue light. Wear blue-blocking (red) glasses. Have filters on your monitors and cell phones. Cover your skin (Yes there are photoreceptors in your skin too).
- Limit EMF at night. At night, turn off all possible electric devices in your bedroom. Ideally including WIFI. Turn your phone to airplane mode. Unplug chargers. If you test them with your EMF meter, they all emit electromagnetic radiation. We need calmness during sleep.
- Increase fish intake. Fish contains DHA (An omega-3 fat which is critical for your eyes and properly working circadian rhythm). Unfortunately pills do not help and there is not enough DHA in your grass fed steaks.
- Eat locally, eat seasonally. Think of food as a light barcode. Light information is stored inside. If you eat something, you also eat the light. So don't worry about fruit or sugars in summer. Add more fats in winter. Don't eat tropical pineapples on Christmas day. Only if you live near the equator and you see them on the palms around.
- Sunbathe and ice bath. Sunbathe in the summer. No sunscreens or sunglasses. Your skin and eyes need UV ligh information. If the sun is too strong, go to the shadows. Swim in nature. Harden yourself in the winter. The healthier your mitochondria, the less painful the hardening is then.
- A little fasting every day. Limit eating time during the day to 12 hours. Eat a big breakfast, small lunch and a smaller dinner. Finish your eating before sunset. Then let your body rest to be able to repair at night.
- Exercise and move. Do it, but do it outdoors not in the gym under artificial light which can harm your mitochondria. Walking or swimming is ideal.
Yes, you are going to be wealthy from your bitcoin in a couple of years, but wealth without health sucks.
