If the European Parliament and the EU member states reach an agreement before the end of the year, the European Central Bank intends to launch a pilot as early as next year. The ECB hopes to be able to introduce the currency in 2029.

Does regular Facebook and Instagram users int the European Union really understand what the consequences of Chat Control 2.0 are? How does your acquaintances on Facebook and Insta react? Mine has no clue at all. They probably don't now that #chatcontrol will be spying on their phones, stealthily checking their conversations and exfiltrating their photos.
