Sharing POP Art around Bangkok

Bangkok is a city that always fills me with creative energy. The entire atmosphere here hums with artistic inspiration. From the street scenes that make me laugh every day to the museums and cozy art cafés that spark new ideas, there’s creativity everywhere I look. ![Gallery Image](https://blossom.primal.net/e583aea4e9ab13e1f050e4689eb07857de9074c84cd1fc227aeef2e1761533d7.jpg) One of my favorite things to do is wander the city in search of new cafés where I can sit, sketch, and soak in the surroundings. Along the way, I often take photos and write travel reviews for my company, @traveltelly. What surprises me most is the positive energy I receive from sharing my postcards with cafés and the wonderful people I meet. That heartfelt exchange fuels me more than anything else. Creating art is a constant journey of reinvention and growth—an artist is rarely satisfied with their own work, but that’s part of the joy. I truly love the process, yet it’s the smiles, gratitude, and connections that make it all so special. ![Gallery Image](https://blossom.primal.net/4abbe3e74784bd077eaa099f9a9f45064c248646e409d166ecced4bc4addbeea.jpg) I still remember one girl asking me, “Is this for me?”—as if she couldn’t believe she was being given a piece of art. Moments like that remind me why I do this. Art is my language, my way of saying thank you (Sawasdee Krub) to the Thai people for the inspiration, kindness, and beauty that I get to share with the world.

21K Sats Art

This project explores the value of art in a new way. I will sell my unique small artworks for 21,000 Satoshis, a fraction of a Bitcoin. If you prefer to pay in your local currency, the price will equal the value of 21,000 sats on the day of purchase. I believe that over time, these artworks will grow in value compared to dollars, euros, or other fiat currencies, and that’s the idea I want to highlight through this project. Each artwork will be a 1/1 digital print, framed with a one-of-a-kind painted frame. The pieces will be numbered, so you’ll know exactly which one you own in the collection. ![Gallery Image](https://blossom.primal.net/dc850d2f60774bfc53d9e527f547b20cc00dba1eeb51f814d198fa546166f06b.png) Why 21.000 Satoshis? The number 21,000 Satoshis is chosen to reflect the total capped supply of Bitcoin, which is 21 million coins. This 21 million limit is a fundamental and immutable feature of Bitcoin’s design, hardcoded into its protocol to mimic the scarcity of precious metals like gold and to prevent inflation from unlimited currency issuance. The scarcity created by this cap is key to Bitcoin’s value proposition as a deflationary digital asset and “digital gold.” The idea behind pricing the art at 21,000 Satoshis is to symbolically connect the artwork’s value to Bitcoin’s fixed supply and long-term appreciation potential against traditional fiat money. The project aims to show that while money can be viewed abstractly or with humor ‘funny money’, Bitcoin paid art can appreciate in value over time. As artist I believe in using Bitcoin both as a store of value and everyday money—holding it long-term to create value and spending it as needed, like traveling and living freely. The art is tied to this philosophy where money is a reward and tool, not the end goal. This is the most rewarding life I could imagine—creating art and being rewarded in Bitcoin, the hardest money on earth. Through this project, I aim to demonstrate how the value of artworks paid in Bitcoin can grow over time, reflecting both the artistic journey and the evolving worth of Bitcoin as a form of money. ![Gallery Image](https://blossom.primal.net/fd32ce79ad5a64b3ce8373ca5512dd5c9024101cf30b89f695c4e728b100bb2c.png) Number 1 of the project. Love Life, Love Yourself, Love the world, Love each other. How to order? Weekly I will release new artworks and share it on my Nostr profile. The first person to claim it will receive the piece. The price is 21,000 Satoshis, excluding shipping costs. The art frames are small, measuring 15 x 10 cm, which makes shipping manageable and affordable no matter where I am in the world. I chose to create small yet unique artworks because I am frequently traveling, but I remain passionate about creating and sharing my art wherever I go. How much will be ever available? I don’t have a specific number set for how many artworks will be available. The first goal might be 21, then perhaps 210, or even 2,100 pieces. As long as I enjoy creating and people enjoy collecting, I will keep going and see where it leads. Each art frame will be numbered so you can easily see which piece you own within the collection. Does the art works has a special theme? The artworks don’t follow a strict theme, as I enjoy creating freely. However, the main subjects you’ll consistently see are Love, Freedom, and Joy. These key elements are always present, and the pieces are brightly colorful to reflect those feelings. Can I buy more than ones of gift someone? Yes, you can buy multiple artworks. Each time I finish a new piece, you are free to purchase another one or gift it to a friend. This way, you can collect as many as you like or share the art with others.

Choose Your Mantra

New art work for next week exhibition in Warsaw, Poland is called ‘Choose Your Montra’ Every day, you have the power to choose how you feel. Even when life presents challenges, you can still make the best of each moment. ![Gallery Image](https://blossom.primal.net/83ac7af7629413829cd8dfc510f9f5a2ae844f82cab1ac56b91b6b290c9b2e04.jpg) As a world traveler who has visited over 88 countries—many of them more than once—I’ve had the privilege of experiencing a wide variety of cultures. Born in the West (The Netherlands), I was fortunate to grow up with a good quality of life. The struggles I’ve faced don’t compare to some of the hardships I’ve witnessed around the world. Yet, even in places that were materially poor, I encountered people who were rich in spirit and mindset. I prefer to say “materially poor” because, mentally and emotionally, these individuals were anything but. My time immersed in different cultures has given me some of the most memorable and meaningful moments of my life—experiences that continue to shape and inspire me to this day. We have more in common with each other than what divides us. But the farther we stray from love and from being true to ourselves, the harder it becomes to see this truth. I often say that at our core, we are all the same only programmed with slightly different “software”: culture, religion, and upbringing. But the foundation is universal we all want to be happy, healthy, and loved. This artwork is about the idea that we can choose our mantra every day. It reflects the belief that when we stay close to our hearts and therefore to our true selves life becomes more beautiful. Each of us longs to express our individuality and live authentically. However, life is full of challenges, and this is symbolized in the artwork by the closed leaf. When we make too many negative choices, our lives can become closed off, rigid, and filled with negativity. The farther we drift from what we love and from who we really are, the more problems we may encounter—addiction, depression, illness, and a loss of joy. So-called “leaders” often try to place us into categories to create division. But when we realize that, at the core, we are all the same, their efforts to divide us fail—because we begin to recognize ourselves in others. And when you truly see yourself in someone else, would you ever want to cause them harm? It’s never too late to become who you truly are. Nature, animals, sport, healthy food and positive energy can help guide you back to yourself. In the closed leaf—the negative side—you’ll see representations of harmful thoughts, Big Pharma, the endless chase for money, mass media manipulation, unhealthy habits, and controlling leaders who try to divide us. Everything outside of that is focused on the positive: love, friendship, learning, sunshine, hugs, and the symbolic connection between East and West. If you look closely, you’ll notice that clouds are drawn differently in Eastern and Western art—but we still share the same sky. We should celebrate our uniqueness, but never forget that deep down, we are not so different. We are one.

From TOON to POP

{"blocks":[{"id":"1","type":"markdown","content":"In 2020, I introduced the BitPopArt brand after 25 years of creating under the name WebCartoons Studio, which focused primarily on cartoon drawings. By 2025, I feel my cartoon and pop art styles have fully come together, enabling me to move forward confidently from the WebCartoons brand.\n\nHaving a distinct art style is essential, but aligning the branding with it is just as important. The merchandise for a brand should be as recognizable as the art itself. The two eyes from my WebCartoons brand will continue to appear in my works, and one of them is even incorporated into the BitPopArt logo.\n\nAs an artist and a person, I believe growth is essential—learning, evolving, and enjoying the process along the way. I could never leave my cartoony side behind because it brings me so much joy. It’s my own little playful world that adds fun to my daily life.\n\nAt the same time, my pop art allows me to explore deeper stories that matter to me, addressing global issues I care about and the unanswerable questions that occupy my mind. Drawing about these topics becomes my form of therapy.\n\nArt has always been my way to express myself and stay positive, even in the face of life’s challenges. There will always be negative energy, but art is how I choose to process and transform it. I hope my work inspires others to find a more positive outlook as well.","images":[]},{"id":"1771245415412","type":"gallery","content":"","images":["https://blossom.primal.net/e7b236518ca6b7050139602c5daff413fbdead69b3adf810bcf3b5d83ac59829.png"],"externalUrl":""},{"id":"1771245453548","type":"markdown","content":"2025\n\nNow, I feel I’ve reached a point where I truly understand my art style and have created the freedom to focus on my passion by selling my art and merch for Bitcoin. After a decade of capturing travel photos and videos with @TravelTelly, it felt like the right time to shift my focus entirely to my art. It’s been a challenging yet rewarding journey—one that I believe will always be a part of the artist’s path.\n\nFrom striving to become a better artist to gaining recognition and earning a living from my work, the process hasn’t been always easy.
