“Invasive” (Site/Non-Site) - Artist Statement + Photos [2016]
"Invasive" is an artistic project that explores the concept of "Site / Non-Site" by contrasting a disrupted natural environment (Teller Lake #5) with its reinterpreted and recontextualized representation in a gallery setting. Through the use of concrete slabs, photographs, audio, and samples, the project highlights the tension between the natural and artificial, and invites viewers to contemplate the impact of human action.
